  • 7/8 cup lard plus 1/2 tsp salt OR
  • 7/8 cup vegetable shortening OR
  • 7/8 cup oil OR
  • 3/4 cup olive oil OR
  • 7/8 cup vegetable oil
  • 8 tsp (1 envelope) butter buds
