Sour Cream (for dips)

1 1/4 cups can be susbtituted with:

  • 1 cup cottage cheese, 1/4 cup plain yogurt or buttermilk (blend in processor) OR
  • 1 cup cottage cheese, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1/4 cup milk or water, 1/8 tsp salt (blend in processor) OR
  • 8 oz cream cheese, 1/4 cup milk (blend in processor)
